| Comments |
Occurs in alll types of still waters. Occasionally encountered in brackish waters. Most common in the coastal wet zone swamps. Popular in the wild and wells of Migahatenne area (Bentota basin). Large fish can be seen in the ponds at the Polonnaruwa and Kitulgala rest houses. Also Ref. 9987, 4833, 1739, 43638. |
